About our Statues and Artists

All of our wood-carved statues are custom made to order, with special attention to details.

They are based on the designs by Commander Jose Ferreira Thedim, the famous sculptor chosen by the Vatican in 1947, to carve the original statues of Our Lady of Fatima. We are very excited at having the son of Jose Thedim working with us on these statues. He is also a gifted artist, believed to be the best carver in Portugal today and one of the best worldwide.

Please note that many of the photos shown were taken of the original models over 50 years ago. The actual statues will be painted in color based on original design, or colors can be modified upon request.
